The death occurred suddenly on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, with her loving family by her side, of Vivian Elaine Baker (nee Thompson) aged 75 years. Survived by her husband Aldon of Morell; her sons; Bob (Suzanne), and Doug (Arlene), daughters; Debbie Martin (Allen), Gwen MacDonald (Rod), and Lorna Baker. Also survived by her grandchildren; Sandi MacLean (Robbie), Melanie Martin, Alison, Greg, Brian, Yolanda and Douglas Baker, Mike and Dan Cottreau, as well as her special boys, Mark and Barry Squires. Also survived by her sister, Ethel Nicholson (Donald), and by her brother, Derell Thompson (Betty), and sister in law, Gwen Thompson, brothers and sisters in law; leland and Marjorie Baker, Lola and James Robbons, Wayne and Carmel Baker, Jean and Harvey Emery and Vera Baker. Predeceased by her parents, Clarence and Bertha Thompson, sister, Betty McCarron, brothers; David and Billy Thompson and brother in law, Eustachius McCarron. Resting at Peter Gordon Memorial United Church, Morell on Monday, July 18, 2011 fom 2 - 4 and from 7 - 9 pm. Funeral service to be held at the United church on Tuesday, July 19 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Vivian's memory to the Peter Memorial United Church roof fund, or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of PEI. Interment in West St. Peters Cemetery, Funeral under the direction of North Shore Funeral Home, Morell.
