Stephen Batchilder

The death occurred peacefully at Souris Hospital on November 17, 2009 of Stephen Batchilder in his 89th year. Son of the late John Batchilder and Philomena (nee Gallant) of Georgetown. Survived by his brother Walter of Calgary Alberta, as well as numerous nieces and nephews including his caregivers and special nieces Gaelyne Smith and Claudia Batchilder. Predeceased by his parents, and his brothers and sisters, Mary Jay (Peter), Ada MacNeill (Hedley), Josie Gotell (Jack), Agnes Macdonald (Temple), Catherine Power (Frank), Jane, infant sister Mary, Lawrence Batchilder (Eileen), Leonard Batchilder (Eva), Ferdinand Batchilder, Bernard Batchilder (Lucille), Thomas and Stanley Batchilder. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at St. James Roman Catholic Church in Georgetown on Thursday, November 19, 2009, at 2:00 PM. Resting at St. James Roman Catholic Church Lounge, Georgetown, for visitation on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 from 7:00 - 9:00 PM. Veterans service of Remembrance will be held at 6:45 PM at the St. James lounge. All veterans are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Convenant House in Toronto Ontario in Stephen's memory. Funeral under the direction of the North Shore Funeral Home, Morell.
