Rosella Marie O’Brien (nee Magennis)

The death occurred peacefully at Beach Grove Home on Thursday, September 06, 2018 of Rosella Marie O’Brien (nee Magennis) of Green Meadows, aged 84. Survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Francis “Jr” O’Brien. Beloved mother of Garry (Judy), Frankie (Germaine), Leah (Uwe), Rachael (Mike), Joan (Garry), Gerard, Theresa (Ronnie), Ivan (Cindy), Bobby (Brenda), Linda (John), Olive (Kenny) and Kenny (Yvonne). Loving grandmother of 31 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. Also survived by her sister, Helen Dunning, and brothers, Leo (Brenda) Magennis, and Francis (Faye) Magennis; sisters-in-law, Marie Magennis, Lea Hogan and Marie Thompson and the extended Magennis and O’Brien families. Predeceased by her parents, Terrance and Marion Magennis; son, Eric O’Brien; granddaughter, Natalie MacInnis; daughter-in-law, Sue O’Brien; son-in-law, Joey Handrahan; her siblings, Rita (Donnie) MacIntyre, Earl Magennis, Joe (Marie) Magennis, and Michael (Thelma) Magennis; and brothers-in-law, Joe Doyle and Joe Dunning. Resting at St. Theresa, The Little Flower Roman Catholic Church, Morell, for visitation on Sunday, September 09, 2018, from 5 – 8 p.m. Funeral mass to be held on Monday, September 10, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Lawrence O’Toole Roman Catholic Church, Green Meadows. Interment to follow in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made in Rosella’s memory to St. Lawrence O’Toole Roman Catholic Church cemetery fund.
