Peacefully on Monday, January 28, 2013, at the Dr. John M. Gillis Memorial Lodge, Belfast, of Joe MacPhee, formerly of Canavoy, in his 81st year. Survived by his brother Allan (Marion) and sisters: Patricia Joyce, Louise Mulholland, Bernadette Ferguson, Ellen Jane MacPhee, and Jean (Jim)Morse; sister-in-law, Teresa MacPhee; brothers-in-law, Lyndon Gross, Ken La Bute, Donald Ferguson and John Mulholland, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Hugh John and Gladys MacPhee; his brothers, Angus, Duncan and an infant brother, Allan; his sisters, Mary Doggett (Victor), Miriam, Teresa, and Mary Catherine (Reginald Smith) and by his brother-in-law, Wally Joyce. Resting at St. Theresa, The Little Flower Roman Catholic Church Lounge, Morell, for visitation on Thursday, January 31, 2013, from 6:00 - 9:00 pm only. Funeral mass to be held at St. Theresa, The Little Flower Roman Catholic Church, Morell, on Friday, February 01, 2013, at 10:30 am. Interment in St. Andrew's Roman Catholic Church Cemetery, Mt. Stewart. Memorial donations may be made in Joe's memory to the Alzheimer Society of PEI. Funeral arrangements entrusted to North Shore Funeral Home, Morell.
