Roger Edric MacEwen

The death occurred on April 08, 2016 at the Palliative Care Center of Roger Edric MacEwen of Bangor Road aged 68. Loving husband of Heather (nee Compton), and father of Chris, Craig (Juliana), Cory (Lori) and Donna. Grandfather of Kurtis, Zachary, Lucas, Tristan and Gavin. Also survived by brothers, Bruce and Wes (Lin); mother-in-law, Helen Compton (the late Robert); brothers and sisters- in-law, Janet MacMaster (Carl), Donna MacLean (Robert), Carol Compton, Paul Compton (Debbie), Gary Compton (Shannon), Ginnie Runighan (Robert), and Sandra MacLean (Colin); as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Dear nephew to Doris MacDonald and Elaine Tierney and cousin to Jennifer MacDonald-Martin (Tony). Predeceased by his parents, Preston and Gladys MacEwen; brother-in-law, Dean Compton; sister-in-law, Debbie Laybolt; and nephew, Jamie MacEwen. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home in Stratford for visitation on Tuesday, April 12, 2016, from 2 – 4 pm and 7 – 9 pm. Funeral to be held at Hillsboro Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at 11 am. Interment in Bangor Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Roger’s memory, may be made to the Palliative Care Center. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to North Shore Funeral Home, Morell.
