Roberta Mary Somers

The death occurred at the Kings County Memorial Hospital on November 25, 2015, of Roberta (Penny) Somers (nee Sample) aged 76. Survived by her husband John (JD), her son, Steven (Cory) of Port Moody, BC; and her special granddaughter, Ever. Also survived by her sisters and brothers-in-law; Caroline Dort (Ira), Annie Sample, Elsie Sample, and Pheobe Sample, all from Nova Scotia; Charles Somers (Virginia), Mary Taylor (the late Glen), Anita Conohan (Billy), and Aggie Campbell (the late George), as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Robert and Catherine Sample; brothers, James(Butch) Sample, Roy (Rita) Sample, Frank Sample, Danny Sample, Billy Sample and Robert (Bob) Sample; her sisters, Betty Miller (Lawrence), and Ferne Hughes-Thompson and her sister-in-law, Clemmie Somers. No visitation by personal request. A private family funeral will be held. Interment will be in St. George’s Roman Catholic Church Cemetery, St. George’s PE. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to North Shore Funeral Home, Morell.
