Reta Cecelia Fitzpatrick

After a courageous battle with cancer, the death occurred peacefully with her family by her side, at the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince Edward Home on Monday, March 31, 2008 of Reta Cecelia Fitzpatrick of Morell, age 85 years. Loving wife of John Daniel (J.D.) Fitzpatrick. Dear mother of Joey, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Leona, St. Peter's Bay, Rick, Charlottetown, and Darlene Jay (Garth), Fanningbrook. Also lovingly remembered by her nine grandchildren Janine, Matthew, Leon, Leah, Kyle, Kurtis, Anthony, Connor, Nathan and numerous nieces and nephews. Dear sister of Edna (James MacLean), Charlottetown and James Whalen (Ronelda), Avondale. Predeceased by her parents John and Margaret Whalen (nee Power), her sisters Louise (Barrett) and Mary (MacQuaid) and her Brothers Vincent (Winnie), Fram (Margaret) and Arnold (Richie). Remains resting at the Lounge of St. Georges Roman Catholic Church, St. Georges on Wednesday, April 02, 2008 for visitation from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass to be held on Thursday, April 03, 2008 at St. Georges Roman Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery. Donations in Cecelia's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the North Shore Funeral Home in Morell.
