Noel Arthur MacDonald

On May 18, 2017, at the age of 72, Noel Arthur MacDonald, of Cable Head East, left this earth on his own terms, peacefully at the Provincial Palliative Care Centre, surrounded by loved ones. Noel lost his battle to cancer, which he fought with courage, dignity and a sense of humor to the very end. He is the son of the late D.F. & Margaret MacDonald; son in-law of the late Gus & Mary MacLaren. He leaves behind his loving wife and life partner of 47 years, Louise; his much loved children Richard, Tracy, Derryl (Andrea), Terri (Jed MacEwen), and brother Gerald. Adored grampy to his grandsons Chase, Hudson, Cohen & Gavin. He will also be missed by many friends and extended family members. Resting at the Dr. Roddie Community Centre, St. Peter’s Bay, on Sunday, May 21 for visitation from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday, May 22 at St. Peters Bay Roman Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. If desired, the family would appreciate donations in Noel's memory be made to the Provincial Palliative Care Centre.
