Miriam Mary Gillan

The death occurrred following a brief illness, at Kings County Memorial Hospital in Montague, on February 18, 2014, of Miriam "Muddy" Gillan, of Peakes Road. Loving mother to Michelle Gouthro and Scott Gouthro. Cherished grandmother (Nina) to Miriam, Rachell, Brendon and Gerry Bradley. Sister to Emery Gillan (June) of Souris. Also survived by Michelle and Scott's father, Gerry Gouthro of Boston, by neices and nephews; Caroline, Michael and Liam Carey, Jerrid and Emberlee Gillan, and Michael, Robin, Myles, Ronnie and Kelly Geddes, and by her brother-in-law; Michael Carey. Predeceased by her parents; Ralph and Caroline Gillan, by her loving companion; Kevin Kelley, her son-in-law; Reggie (Reg) Bradley, her sisters; Juanita Geddes (Harry), and Brenda Carey, and by her brother; Graham Gillan. Resting at St. Cuthbert's Roman Catholic Church, St. Teresa, for visitation on Friday, February 21, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral mass to be celebrated on Saturday, February 22, 2014, at 10:00 am at St. Cuthbert's Church, St. Teresa. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Muddy's memory may be made to her grandchildren's (Miriam, Rachell, Brendon and Gerry Bradley) trust fund at visiting hours on Friday or at Morell Credit Union.
