The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, on July 04, 2018, with his family by his side of Merlin Francis Grant of Charlottetown, and formerly of St. Patrick’s Road aged 67. Son of the late Ralph and Sarah (Bambrick) Grant. He is survived by his daughters, Heidi, Lisa and Tanya (Paul) of Charlottetown; by his son, Tommie (Megan); his grandson, William; and granddaughter Rosalie, all of Victoria, B.C. Merlin also leaves to mourn his sister Mabel of Lakeside, brothers, Ernie (Ginny) of Cornwall, Tommie (Annette) of Halifax, and Allan Raymond (Colleen) of Montague; Sister-in-law, Mardith; brother-in-law, Wilfred; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his sisters, Patricia and Pearl; and by brothers, Kenneth and Basil. Resting at St. Cuthbert’s Roman Catholic Church, St. Teresa, for visitation on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 from 5 – 8 p.m. Funeral mass to be celebrated at the church on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at 11 a.m. Interment in the parish cemetery. If so desired, memorial donations may be made in Merlin’s memory to the St. Cuthbert’s cemetery fund, or a charity of your choice.
