Mary Eleanor MacMillan

The death occurred peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Charlottetown, on Saturday, June 16, 2018, of Mary MacMillan (nee MacAulay), of St. Peter’s Bay aged 94 years. Daughter of the late Joseph and Phemia MacAulay and wife of the late William MacMillan. Mother of Colette (Peter) Gotell; grandmother of Amy (Marcelo) and Maribeth (Chris); Great grandmother of Andrea and Marcelito. Also survived by her sister, Barbara MacKinnon and her sister-in-law, Moira MacMillan. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Reggie MacAulay; her sisters-in-law, Mary McCormack, and Rita MacMillan; and by her brothers-in-law, Martin and Louis MacMillan, and Joseph MacKinnon. Resting at the Dr. Roddie Community Center, St. Peters Bay for visitation on Friday, June 22, 2018 from 6 – 9 p.m. Funeral mass to be held at St. Peter’s Bay Roman Catholic Church, St. Peter’s Bay, on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 4 p.m. Memorial donations in Mary’s memory may be made to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind.
