Mary LaVie

The death occurred peacefully at the QE 11 in Halifax on October 20, 2018, of Mary LaVie. Survived by her life partner, Gerard Martin; her mother Margaret; sister, Marie; brothers, David (Melva), Michael, and Robert (Denise); as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers Kenny, and Wayne( in infancy), and by her sister Juliette Lunn. Resting at St. James Roman Catholic Church, Georgetown, for visitation on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 from 6 – 9 pm. Funeral mass to be held at the church on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at 10:00 am. Interment in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Mary’s memory to St. James Roman Catholic Church Cemetery Fund. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to North Shore Funeral Home, Morell.
