Margaret A. Fitzgerald

The death occurred peacefully at the Garden Home In Charlottetown, on February 26, 2012, of Margaret Fitzgerald (nee O'Brien), wife of the late Francis Fitzgerald, in her 92nd year. Loving mother of Sharon Stanley (the late Bill Stanley), Brendon Fitzgerald (Margaret), Mary Sheila MacDonald (Mike), Anne Ranahan (Vince), and Marie Boyle (Harold). Also survived by her son in law; Frank MacDonald, grandchildren; Barry MacDonald, Melissa Stanley (Jason Gallant), Melinda Stanley (Iain Harnish), Nicholas Ranahan, Michelle and Colin MacDonald, Chris Evans and Shawn Evans (AnneMarie), great grandchildren: Kelsey Stanley, Blake, Casey and Mea Gallant, Joleen Ranahan and Ty, Chase, Jackson, Selyna, Alexander and Nathaniel Evans. Predeceased by her parents; Michael and Mary Ellen (nee Dunphy) O'Brien, her son; Joseph, Daughter; Geraldine MacDonald, and infant daughter, Marguerite, her brothers; Ambrose O'Brien (Charlotte), and Joe O'Brien, her sisters; Mary Long (Phil), Cecelia MacDonald (Danny), and Sr. Theresa Martin. Resting at the Lounge of St. Theresa, The Little Flower Roman Catholic Church, Morell, for visitation on Monday, February 27, 2012 from 6-9 pm only. Funeral mass to be celebrated on Tuesday, February 28, at S.t Lawrence O'Toole Roman Catholic Church, Green Meadows, at 10:30 am. Interment later in the parish cemetery. Memorial donations in Margaret's memory may be made to St. Lawrence O'Toole cemetery fund, if desired. Funeral arrangements entrusted to North Shore Funeral Home, Morell.
