At her late residence on Sunday, January 06, 2019, of Mabel Frances Grant of Lakeside, PE formerly of LaSalle QC, aged 82 years. Daughter of the late Ralph and Sarah (Bambrick) Grant of Peakes,PE. She is survived by her brothers, Ernie (Ginny) of Cornwall, Tommie (Annette) of Halifax, and Raymond (Colleen) of Montague; sister-in-law, Meredith; brother-in-law, Wilfred; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by sisters, Patricia and Pearl; and by brothers, Kenneth, Basil and Merlin. A graduate of McGill University, Mabel was a teacher in the Montreal area for 35 years before retiring to her home in Lakeside, PE in 1996. Resting at St. Cuthbert’s Roman Catholic Church, St. Teresa, for visitation on Thursday, January 10, 2019 from 5 – 8 p.m. Funeral mass to be celebrated at the church on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in the parish cemetery at a later date. If so desired, memorial donations in Mabel’s memory may be made to St. Cuthbert’s cemetery fund, or a charity of your choice.
