Louise Trainor Obituary

The death occurred at Kings County Hospital on July 21, 2023 of Louise Trainor (nee Brazel) of Fanningbrook in her 89th year. Survived by her children, Mary MacDonald (David), Tom Trainor, Merlin Trainor (Mary) and Noreen Burke. She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren; Sherry MacDonald, Scott MacDonald (Damara), Michelle Myers (Norman), Mathew MacDonald (Sloane), Amanda Gotell (Cody), Nathan Trainor (Stacey), Mallory Trainor (Alex Beitz), Haily, Morgan Peters (Preston), Charley Burke (Jamie Culleton), and Loman Burke; as well as numerous great grandchildren. Fondly remembered by sisters-in-law; Laura Brazel, Bernadette Trainor, and Helen Trainor; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Mary and Tom Brazel; by her siblings, Aeneas Brazel, Helen MacDonald (Joe), Mildred Cummiskey (Jim), and Oswald Brazel; and by her son-in-law, Andy Burke. Resting at St. Cuthbert’s Roman Catholic Church, St. Teresa for visitation on Sunday, July 23, 2023 from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. Funeral mass to be held at the church on Monday, July 24, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. Interment in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Louise’s memory to St. Cuthbert’s Parish or to St. Peter’s Community Cupboard. To send the family an online condolence, please see below. The funeral for the late Louise Trainor, (nee Brazel) was held on July 24, 2023, at St. Cuthbert’s Roman Catholic Church, St. Teresa, with Father Danny Wilson officiating. Laying the Pall were Mary MacDonald, Merlin Trainor, Tom Trainor and Noreen Trainor. Eucharistic Minister was Josephine Rogerson. The first reading was read by Stacey Trainor while Christina Dunn proclaimed the second reading. Kathleen Trainor offered the prayers of intercession. Father Wilson read the gospel and delivered the homily. The pallbearers consisted of Nathan Trainor, Loman Burke, George MacDonald, David Brazel, Michael Cummiskey, and Kevin Brazel. Honorary pallbearers included everyone in attendance. Music was provided by St. Cuthbert’s Choir with organist Michelle MacDonald singing, Processional, City of God; Psalm, And I Will Follow; Preparation of gifts,Make Me a Channel of Your Peace; Communion, Be Not Afraid; Meditation; On This Day O’ Beautiful Mother; (sung by Mary Trainor), Incensing, Songs of the Angels; and Recessional, We Shall Go Out. . Interment will take place at a later date in the parish cemetery. The funeral was under the direction of North Shore Funeral Home, Morell.
