The death occurred peacefully surrounded by his daughters on September 22, 2018 at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital of Lloyd James Gallant of Charlottetown, aged 67. Survived by his loving wife Linda (Savoie) and his children Anne (Kevin), Joanna (Chris), April (Mark) and Dawn. Also survived by his grandchildren Taylor, Madison, Callum, Camden and Ryder, and by brothers and sisters Ronnie (Theresa), Janice (Gordon), Doreen, Ralph (Brenda), Arnold, Ricky (Marilyn), Brian (Georgie), Neil (Nicole), Nelson, Stevie (Sonya), Estelle and Celeste (Kevin) as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Henry and Adelina and by brothers; Gerald, Henry Gerard and Kenneth; brothers-in-law Lowell Robertson and Albert Squires; and sister-on-law, Terri Gallant. Resting at the Dr Roddie Community Centre, St Peter’s Bay for visitation on Monday, September 24 from 2–4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass to be held Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at 3:00 PM at St Peter’s Roman Catholic Church. If desired, Memorial donations in Lloyd’s name may be made to PEI Diabetic Association or The PEI Canadian Liver Foundation. Interment to take place in St Peter’s Roman Catholic Church Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to North Shore Funeral Home.
