Leo Brendon MacKinnon

The death occurred peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 of Leo Brendon MacKinnon of Goose River in his 63rd year. Beloved husband of Claire (nee King). Loving father of Darren (Dianne), O’Leary; Chris, Goose River; Kyle (Katy), Cape Coral, Florida, and Mitchell, (Ashley) French Village. Proud Grampie of Maddy, Hannah, Ryan and Tucker. He also leaves to mourn his brother, Dannie (Janie), Goose River; brother-in- law Wilfred (Gladys) King, Goose River; sister-in-law Anne (Michael) Palmer, Cable Head East. Also cherished by numerous nephews and nieces and many good friends. Brendon was predeceased by his parents, Joseph L and Lillian MacKinnon and his father- and mother- in-law, John and Teresa King. Resting at the Dr. Roddie Community Center, St. Peter’s Bay, for visitation on Sunday, June 07, 2015 from 2 – 4 pm and 7 – 9 pm., as well as on Monday, June 08, 2015 from 1:00 pm until time of funeral. Funeral mass to be held at St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church, St. Peter’s Bay, on Monday, June 08, at 2:00 pm. If desired, memorial donation’s in Brendon’s memory may be made to the IWK hospital.
