John "Ray Grant

Peacefully, at the Riverview Manor in Montague, on December 05, 2013 of John R Grant "Ray" of St. Teresa's in his 85th year. Loving husband for 56 years to Maureen (nee Curran). Father of Eileen Mason (Kirk) of Illinois, Robert (Sharon) of Cardigan, Katherine Grant Smith (Joe) of Charlottetown, Michael of St. Teresa's, Paula Kalous (Scott) of Wisconsin, and Patricia MacCormack (Raymond) of St. Teresa's. Grandfather to Ian and Brendan Mason, Daniel and Charles Grant, Jessica Doyle (Devan), Sean Smith (Melanie), Matthew Bradley, Madlyn Kalous, and Grant and Hillary MacCormack. Great grandfather to Alexa and Sadie Smith. Also survived by his sisters; Virginia Oatman, and Lib Driscoll (Lawrence), his brother and sisters in law; Tom (Debbie) Curran and Joan Bradley. Predeceased by his parents; Leo and Susan Grant, by his brothers in law; Charlie Oatman, Desmond Curran, Bobby Curran, and Ernie Bradley. Resting at St. Cuthbert's Roman Catholic Church, St. Teresa's, for visitation on Sunday, December 08, 2013 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm. Funeral mass to be celebrated at the church on Monday, December 09, 2013, at 2:00 pm. Memorial donations may be made in Rays' memory, to the St. Cuthberts Roman Catholic Church, or to a charity of your choice. Cremation will take place and interment will be held at a later date.
