The death occurred peacefully, at the Kings County Memorial Hospital in Montague, on April 27, 2013, of John Joseph Cormier of Pembroke in his 81st year. Loving husband of Isabel and father to Gerard (Jean), of Georgetown, and Alisa Cormier of Pembroke. Brother of Lionel (Catherine ) Cormier, and Vitaline Vienneau, both of Shediac. Lovingly remembered by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Also survived by sisters-in-law, Evelyn, Dorothy, and Loretta Cormier, and Florence (Michael) MacDonald, Betty Perry and Brenda Richard (Albert). Predeceased by his parents, Denis and Eulalie Cormier of Cap-Pele, as well as sisters; Mary Leblanc (Gerard). Albina O'Brine (Willie) and brothers; Rudolph, Albinie and Adrice, and by brothers-in-law, Alfred Vienneau and Henry Perry. Resting at St. James Roman Catholic Church, Georgetown, for visitation on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 from 6 -9 pm only. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at St. James Church on Wednesday, May 01, 2013, at 3:30 pm. Interment in the church cemetery, Georgetown. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in John's memory, may be made to the PEI cancer society. Arrangements entrusted to North Shore Funeral Home, Morell.
