Joan Marie Hannouch Smith

The death occurred peacefully and happily on August 23, 2017 at Souris Hospital, of Joan Marie Hannouch Smith in her 77th year. She was the beloved wife and companion of the late Eric Smith (2014) and dearest mother of Greg (Suet Wan Tsang). Joan is also survived by her loving sister Norma; sister-in-law, Janine Hannough, Montreal; and many very special nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation by personal request. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at St. Peter’s Bay Roman Catholic Church at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in the parish cemetery. A private reception will be held at the Smith residence in Cable Head. In lieu of flowers, if so desired, contributions may be made to Souris Home Care, in Joan’s memory. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to North Shore Funeral Home, Morell.
