Joan MacDonald

The death occurred peacefully on March 28, 2021, with family by her side, of Joan MacDonald, of Charlottetown, and formerly of Green Meadows, wife of the late Walter MacDonald, aged 82. Dear mother of Ann (Stephen) of Halifax, Mary (Bobby) of Charlottetown, Kevin of Charlottetown, Keith (Carol) of Charlottetown, and Allan (Nicole) of Fredericton. Grandmother to six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her husband Walter, she was also predeceased by her parents, Vernon and Margaret; and by brothers, Steve (Doris) and Keith. Joan was loved by the MacDonald family; Arthur “Artie” (Teresa) MacDonald, Joe “Bomber” (Rachel) MacDonald, Linus MacDonald, Leo (Bernadette) MacDonald, Mary (Art) Doyle, Helen (Jerry) Meredith, Ivan MacDonald and Barney (Ethel) MacDonald and their families. Resting at North Shore Funeral Home, Morell. At this time, we the family would like to sincerely thank all staff at the Charlotte Residence for their excellent care during mom’s stay. Due to covid restrictions, there will be no visitation or funeral celebration. A memorial mass will take place at a later time. A grave site service will take place Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Theresa, The Little Flower Roman Catholic Church Cemetery, Morell.
