On Friday, June 27, 2025, Jerry Webster of Christopher Cross, PEI, formerly of Alberta
and Marie, PEI, lost his life in the blink of an eye, at the age of 49, doing what he loved
best, driving a truck.
Jerry is survived by his brother, Randy, his step-father, Allan Clow, both of Charlottetown, and numerous aunts, uncles
and cousins. His fur baby, Miss Angel, is sure missing her daddy. She was such a great companion and co-pilot in the truck.
Jerry was predeceased by his beloved parents, Ray and Hazel (nee Knox) Webster and
dear Aunt Jean (nee Webster) Dingwell, all of Marie.
Life wasn't easy for Jerry. His dad died when Jerry was a teenager; his mom fifteen
years ago. He missed them both so much.
Jerry moved out West years ago, but PEI was always calling him back, so eventually he
moved home for good. He took a lot of teasing over the years but would just chuckle it
away. He was stubborn, not afraid to try anything. The ideas he came up with and the
things he would do on his own were amazing. He poured lots of sweat into building his
dream home in Christopher Cross (in the area where his mother was raised and where
he had many relatives), little bits at a time, but eventually it was going to be finished,
some say maybe in 2045? As much stuff as he gathered, everything had its place and
was neat and tidy. He met many people throughout the years and left an everlasting
impression on each of them, whether it was good, bad or ugly. He had lots of buddies
in Alberta and PEI. He will be missed by many.
A graveside service will be held at Midgell Cemetery on Friday, July 4, 2025 at 1:00
p.m., with reception to follow at Morell Fire Hall, 15 Park Street, Morell (just east of Morell Credit Union).
If desired, donations to help with Jerry’s funeral costs would be greatly appreciated and
may be e-transferred to northshorefuneralhome@gmail.com.
“Fly high with the angels my friend. I hope your parents were there to greet you with
open arms.”
