Jean Patricia (Dwan) Taylor

Peacefully at the Souris Hospital on May 28, 2025, the death occurred of Jean Patricia Taylor (Dwan) in her 97th year, formerly of Forest Hill.  Lovingly remembered by her daughter Rhoda; her grandchildren, Paul Blackett (Linda), Wanda Ching (Denton), and Heidi Holland (Troy); as well as her great grandchildren, Kara, Kegan, Dylan, Carson, Cameron and Tristan.  She will also be dearly missed by numerous nieces and nephews. 

Predeceased by her parents, Clifford and Mary Dwan; her husband, William Taylor; grandson, Scott Blackett; great grandsons, Griffin and William in infancy; son-in-law Jack Blackett; her parents-in-law, Jim and Annie Taylor; and by special friend Murdock Blaxland.  Jean was also predeceased by her sisters, Francina, Beatrice, Helen, Eileen and Evelyn; as well as her brothers, Emmett, Reggie, Eddie, Bobby and John. 

Resting at North Shore Funeral Home, Morell, for visitation on Sunday, June 01, 2025 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm.  A graveside service will take place following visitation at 5:00 pm at the Old Dundas (Acorn) cemetery in Dundas.  Memorial donations in Jean’s memory may be made to the Souris Hospital.  To leave the family a condolence, please visit our website at northshorefuneralhome.ca
