Janet Kenny (nee Curran) Obituary

On November 30, 2022, Janet Kenny (nee Curran), of St. Teresa PE, passed away
peacefully surrounded by her family, under the outstanding care of the staff at the
Palliative Care Centre in Charlottetown.
Left to celebrate her life is her loving husband of 44 years, Martin; her daughter, Julie
(Sean) McGuire, her son Bryan (Shara) and her beloved grandchildren and greatest
joys, Caitlin, Liam, Brayden and Landon.
Janet was born on August 6, 1954, to Jennie (MacAulay) and Cornie Curran. She was
the youngest of eight siblings, Joe/Speedy (Floss), George (Heather), Mary (George),
Barbara (Mick), Cornie (Marie), Peggy (Carl) and Teresa (Raymond). She will be
lovingly missed by her remaining sisters, Teresa, Peggy & Barbara.
Janet was welcomed into and loved by the Kenny family and will be fondly remembered
by her brother and sisters-in-law, whose friendships she cherished for over 60 years.
She held a special place in her heart for her numerous cousins, nieces and nephews,
especially her goddaughter Cindy Fisher (Roger).
Those who knew Janet will remember her for her quick wit, her love of good food, the
enjoyment she found “spinning” with her sisters and the competitive edge she had when
watching any sporting event her grandchildren played in. She was and will always be
their biggest fan.
