J. Francis “Charlie” MacAdam Obituary

 

Peacefully, on June 4th, 2021, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, the death occurred of J. Francis ‘Charlie’ MacAdam, aged 71.  Beloved son of the late Francis and Stashie (O’Hanley) MacAdam of Morell.  Dear brother to Debby (Bill) Schlitt, Susan (Fred) Cheverie, Ellen Hennessey, Jim ‘Humphrey’ (Kathy) MacAdam, Mary Leah (Kip) Doyle, Tony (deceased) (Becky) MacAdam, Patty (Robert) McBean, Peggy (Hugh) Logan, Mark (Kim) MacAdam. Charlie is also lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews as well as aunts and uncles from both the MacAdam and O’Hanley families.  Resting at North Shore Funeral Home, Morell.  Due to covid restrictions, visitation and funeral mass will be by invitation only.  Funeral mass to be held at St. Theresa, The Little Flower Roman Catholic Church in Morell, on Monday, June 7th, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. The funeral will be live-streamed at http://holytrinitypastoralunit.ca/.  Interment to follow in the parish cemetery.  If desired, memorial donations may be made in Charlie’s memory to the Morell Fire Department via e-transfer to northshorefuneralhome@gmail.com.  Online condolences may be made to www.northshorefuneralhome.ca.   Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to North Shore Funeral Home, Morell.  Go Habs Go!!!

 

The funeral mass for the late J. Francis “Charlie” MacAdam was held on Monday, June 07, 2021 at St. Theresa, The Little Flower Roman Catholic Church, Morell, with Father Brian MacDougall officiating, accompanied by Father Danny Wilson. The Altar Server was David MacAdam. Placing the Pall were Susan Cheverie, Ellen Hennessey, MaryLeah Doyle, and Peggy Logan. The first reading was read by Fred Cheverie, while Kip Doyle proclaimed the second reading. Jill Burridge offered the prayers of intercession. Father MacDougall read the gospel and delivered the homily. Honorary pallbearers were everyone in attendance. Eucharistic Minister was Anne Morrison. Pallbearers consisted of Jon Cheverie, Mike Cheverie, Ryan Hennessey, Kieran Hennessey, Jeremy Doyle, and Greg Dunn. Flower Bearers were Kylah Hennessey, Jill Burridge, Stacey Trainor, and Chloe MacAdam. Music was provided by Breanna MacAdam singing, Processional, Here I am Lord: Offertory, Come to the Water; Communion, Old Rugged Cross; Meditation, Be Not Afraid; Incensing, Songs of the Angles; and the Recessional, Amazing Grace. Interment took place in the parish cemetery. The funeral was under the direction of North Shore Funeral Home, Morell.
