Gordon MacLean Obituary

Peacefully on May 7, 2020 in his 73rd year, Gordon MacLean of St. Peter’s Bay passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. Survived by his loving wife of 51 years Janice (Gallant). Much loved father of Bev (Chris Vessey), Gordie (Connie), Janine (Darcy MacDougall) and Aaron (Lori). Proud Papa of Kayla (Ron), Garrett, Morgan & Logan, Jill (Dan MacIntyre), George & Anthony, Jesse & Ainsley and Julia, Joseph & Jacob. Loving great Papa of Rebekah, Ethan, Dawson, Porter, Jasper, Reggie and Harrison. Beloved brother of Barb (Alan) Bradley and Mary (Ed) Steele. Brother-in-law to Doreen Robertson, Ralph (Brenda), Arnold, Ricky (Marilyn), Brian (Georgie), Neil (Nicole), Nelson and Stevie (Sonya) Gallant, Estelle Squires, Celeste (Kevin) Ranahan, Linda Gallant, Theresa Gallant and John MacKinnon. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Dorothy MacLean, sisters Ann and Patricia, in-laws Henry and Adelina Gallant and brothers-in-law Kenny MacKinnon, Ronnie, Kenny, Lloyd, and Gerald Gallant, Lowell Robertson and Albert Squires. Due to covid-19, there will be no visitation at this time. Funeral Mass to be held at a later date. Interment will be held at St. Peter’s Bay Roman Catholic Church Cemetery. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to St.Peter`s Roman Catholic Church Cemetery Fund or Souris Hospital. The family would like to thank Dr. Berrow, nursing, housekeeping and kitchen staff of Souris Hospital, Homecare, Dr. Champion, Dr. Brown and staff at the PEI Cancer Centre.
