The death occurred at Whisperwood Villa, on April 07, 2015, of Geraldine Marie MacDonald, wife of the late Ronald MacDonald of St. Peter’s Bay, in her 88th year. Survived by her children, Albert, Joan, George, Paul (Siri), Betty (Mike), and Andrew. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Nick, Andrew (Angela), Lauchlin (Vanessa), Emma, Jodhi, Leah and Kyle. Also survived by her sister, Clare Logan; brother-in-law, George Purdy as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, George and Ethel McInnis; her husband, Ronald MacDonald; her brother, John McInnis; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Mary Larkin (AJ); Fabian MacDonald (Claire); Marion Purdy; Claire Byrne (Pat); Allan MacDonald (Lorraine); Lee MacDonald; Ben MacDonald; as well as nephews, Bobby Logan and George Purdy Jr., and niece Lorraine Larkin Virtue. Resting at the Dr. Roddie Community Center, St. Peter’s Bay, for visitation on Friday, April 10, 2015, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral mass to be held at St. Peter’s Bay Roman Catholic Church, on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 11:00 am. Interment later in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Geraldine’s memory to St. Peter’s Bay Roman Catholic Church cemetery fund, or the the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
