George Charles MacDonald

The death occurred at Colville Manor in Souris, on Friday, April 24, 2015 of George Charles MacDonald of St. Peter’s Bay, aged 85. Son of the late Marcellus and Josephine MacDonald. Survived by his brother, Eugene (Helen) MacDonald of St. Peter’s Bay, PE and by his sister, Martha Boran (Lawrence) of Boston MA. Also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers, Steven, Joseph Laughlin, and Earl, as well as his sisters, Mary Taylor, Helen Grayston and Florence MacDonald. Resting at the Dr. Roddie Community Center, St. Peter’s Bay, for visitation on Monday, April 27, 2015 from 7:00 – 9:00 pm only. Funeral mass to be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at 11:00 am at St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church, St. Peter’s Bay. Interment to be held later at the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in George’s memory, to a charity of your choice. George was a very loving, kind, and generous soul and will be missed by all those he has touched over the years. The family would like to thank the staff of Colville Manor and the Souris Hospital for their exceptional kind and compassionate care.
