The death occurred at the Kings County Memorial Hospital, surrounded by his family, on Wednesday, August 22, 2007 of Frederick Earle Myers of Newport in his 64th year. Fred is survived by his wife, Patsy (nee MacDonald), and sons, Sean (Tina) of Newport and Colin (Lacey) of Mount Stewart. Fred is also survived by his brothers; Jackie (Bessie) Myers of Georgetown, Mike (Odette) Myers of Saskatchewan, Vernon (Eileen) Myers of Alberta, Barry (Betty) Boudreault of Georgetown as well as his sisters, Gloria (Albert) Brousseau and Bonnie Boudreault of Georgetown; his Aunt Margaret of Thorburn, Nova Scotia; his father-in-law, Michael MacDonald; his brother-in laws; Bobby, Jerome (Loraine) and Ed (Sheila) MacDonald and his sister-in-laws; Anne (Norbert) Morrison, Helen (Jim) Larkin, Clair MacDonald, Rita (Mark) Arsenault and Edith MacDonald. Fred will be missed by his numerous nieces and nephews. Fred was predeceased by his mother, Mary (Jerrior) Myers/Boudreault, his father, Michael Myers, his sister, Selina, his infant sister, Peggy and his mother-in-law, Marguerite MacDonald. Remains resting at the St. Georges's Roman Catholic Church, St. Georges, Thursday, August 23, 2007 for visitation from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass to be held at St. Georges Roman Catholic Church on Friday, August 24, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. Internment in the St. Georges Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Fred's honor may be made to the PEI Cancer Society or the St. George's Church Cemetery Fund would be greatly appreciated.
