Francis (Frank) Clayton Blackett

The death occurred at Souris Hospital on Monday, February 05, 2018 of Francis (Frank) Clayton Blackett of Souris and formerly of Little Pond, aged 84 years. Son of the late John and Mary Anne (Gallant) Blackett. Survived by his sister Mildred (Larry) Johnston, North Bay, ON as well as numerous nieces and nephews and by his friend Paulette Mullally of Souris. Predeceased by brothers and sisters; Mae Cantelmo, Pius, Hilda Belyea, Ken, Anne Gauthier, Winsloe, Caius, Gladys Doyle-Coffin, and Aubrey. No visitation by personal request. Frank shared his musical talents with many over the years and would like to have a music session at the church prior to the funeral Mass. Music will begin at 9:45 am with funeral Mass at St. Mary’s Church, Souris, at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 10, 2018. Donations in Frank’s memory may be made to St. Mary’s Parish, Souris, St. Francis de Sales Parish, Little Pond, or to the Christian Children’s Fund.
