Evelyn "Libby" Theresa Murphy

Peacefully, at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, on Thursday, December 27, 2012, of Evelyn "Libby" Theresa Murphy (nee Conohan) of New Dominion, formerly of Morell, in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of the late Ernest Murphy. Loving Mother of Kaye (Doug) MacEwen, Elliot Lake ON, Jim (Peggy) Murphy, Charlottetown, Glen (Lynn) Murphy, Toronto, Brenda (Mike) Huston, New Dominion, Patti (Kevin) Sentner, New Dominion. Loving Grandmother of Denise MacEwen Williamson, Darlene Mac Ewen Freitas, Michelle Murphy MacDonald, Jamie Murphy, Rebecca Murphy, David Murphy, Christopher Murphy, Kate Huston, Kirsten Sentner, Michaela Sentner and Hannah Sentner. 

Loving Great Granddmother of Colin Williamson, Patrick Williamson, Andrew Freitas and Ben MacDonald. Also survived by siblings; Danny (Estelle) Conohan, Montreal, Louise Nolan, West St. Peters, Isabelle Bambrick, Charlottetown, her brothers and sisters-in-law; Emmett and Sheila Murphy, Bernadette Murphy, Vernita and Sinnott Mullally, and Jody Murphy. Predeceased by her parents Gertrude (LaPierre) Conohan and James Conohan, her brother, Norman Conohan, and her infant daughter Audrey. Resting at St. Theresa, The Little Flower Roman Catholic Church Lounge, Morell, for visitation on Sunday, December 30, 2012 from 6 - 9 pm only. Funeral mass to be held at St. Theresa, The Little Flower Roman Catholic Church, Morell, Monday December 31, 2012 at 10:30 am. Interment to follow in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Evelyn's memory, to the PEI Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the Kidney Foundation of Canada. Funeral entrusted to North Shore Funeral Home, Morell.
