Eric Wilfred Smith

The death occurred peacefully at Souris Hospital on Wednesday, August 27, 2014, of Eric Wilfred Smith of Cable Head East, in his 84th year. He was the beloved husband and companion of Joan (Hannouch), and dearest father of Greg (Suet Wan Tsang) of Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Eric is also survived by sister-in-law, Norma Hannouch, Charlottetown, brother-in-law Richard Hameline, Plattsburg, NY, sister-in-law Janine Hannough, Montreal, numerous special nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Frederick and Eunice Smith, Mount Stewart, brother Douglas (Alberta) Smith, Toronto, sister Lois Hameline, Cherry Hill, brother-in-law Arnold Hannough and sister-in-law Laurice (Neil) MacKenzie. There will be no visitation, by personal request. A private funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday September 1, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter?s Roman Catholic Church, St. Peter?s Bay, Prince Edward Island. Interment will follow at St. Peter?s Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if desired, donations in memory of Eric may be made to the Eastern Kings Health Foundation, P. O.
