Elizabeth "Betty” Douglas

The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by her family on Monday, October 6, 2008 at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital of Betty Douglas, aged 88 years. Beloved mother of Joan (Pat Desmarais), Len, David (Marie), Judy (Garry O'Brien), Jamie, Lester, Jane (Lloyd O'Brien) and daughter-in-law, Anita. Very special grandmother to 29 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Coffin Douglas, her son Paul, her infant daughter Shirley, her 8 brothers and one sister. Remains resting at the North Shore Funeral Home, Morell on Thursday, October 9, 2008 for visitation from 6 to 9 p.m. Completed funeral arrangements announced later. Memorial donations in Betty's memory may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation or the West St. Peters Cemetery Fund. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the North Shore Funeral Home, Morell.
