Edward John “Eddie” Czank

The death occurred peacefully, at the Kings County Memorial Hospital on Monday, February 15, 2021, of Edward John “Eddie” Czank of Morell, formerly of Vancouver BC aged 83. Survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Lynn (nee Lambie); his sons, Todd (Marina), Wade (Crissy), Scott (Stephanie) and Kent; his grandchildren, Therron, Kyra, Ethan, and Leo; and his brother Frank. Predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Anna; his brothers, Joseph (Mary), and George; his sister Betty; and his brother-in-law Van Solum. Resting at North Shore Funeral Home, Morell where visitation will be by invitation only because of covid restrictions. A private Funeral mass will be held Friday, February 19, 2021 at St. Theresa, The Little Flower Roman Catholic Church, Morell at 11:00 a.m. It will be live streamed at www.facebook.com/pg/Holy-Trinity-Pastoral-Unit-PEI-103197078005559. Interment in the parish cemetery. TP Butler Knights of Columbus Council 7617, the 4th Degree Council – The Honourable Daniel J MacDonald Assembly 2127, the Mt. Stewart Lady Slipper Senior Citizens Club, and St. Peter’s Day Program. He was a first class battery man, a teamster, and an employee of the Vancouver Liquor Distribution Center. At this time, Eddie’s family would like to thank Souris Home Care nurses and staff, and the doctors and nursing staff at Kings County Memorial Hospital especially Dr. MacLeod. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to North Shore Funeral Home, Morell.

The funeral mass for the late Edward John “Eddie” Czank was held on Friday, February 19, 2021 at St. Theresa, The Little Flower Roman Catholic Church, Morell, with Father Danny Wilson officiating. Placing the pall were Lynn Czank, Kent Czank, Wade Czank, Crissy Czank, and Leo Czank. The first reading was read by John Cameron, while George Sturgess proclaimed the second reading. John Camerson also offered the prayers of intercession. Father Danny Wilson read the gospel and delivered the homily. The Pallbearers were Jason Cheeseman, Matt Cheeseman, Danny Kelly, Lefty Dunn, Emmett LaPierre, and Leonard Kelly. Honorary pallbearers were everyone in attendance. Music was provided by Tom Vail singing, Processional, City of God; Offertory, Be Not Afraid; Communion, Amazing Grace; Meditation, On Eagles Wings; and the Recessional, Sing With All the Saints in Glory. Interment was held at the parish cemetery, Morell. The funeral was under the direction of North Shore Funeral Home, Morell.
