It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edith F. Campbell (nee Rice) at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on February 28, 2013, in her 92nd year. Survived by her eight sons; Cecil (Elaine), of Charlottetown, Clare (Linda) of Poplar Point, Ken (June) of Charlottetown, Pat of Poplar Pint, Gus (Diane) of Georgetown, Gerard (Ann) of Charlottetown, Peter (Bev) of Poplar Point, Andy (Betty) of Vernon River, and by her daughters; Mary E. Myers (Garth) and Anne Marie Parent (Stephane) both of Charlottetown. Also survived by her daughter-in-law; Shirley, as well as her brothers; Raymond, Russell (Leona) and Norbert (Eileen), by her sisters; Mary, Ruth (Bernie) and Barbara, and by sisters-in-law; Vera and Ethel. Lovingly remembered by her 37 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her first husband, Wilfred L. Campbell, and by her second husband, A. Neil Campbell, and by her eldest son; W. Bennett Campbell. Edith was also predeceased by her siblings; Cecil, Emmett (Hilda), Benedict, Hilary and Peter. Resting at St. George's Roman Catholic Church Lounge, St. George's on Sunday, March 03, 2013, from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm, and on Monday, March 04, until time of funeral. Funeral mass to be celebrated at St. George's Roman Catholic Church, St. George's, on Monday, March 04, 2013 at 11:00 am. Interment in the parish cemetery. Memorial donations, if desired, in Edith's memory, may be made to St. George's Roman Catholic Church Cemetery, or to a charity of your choice.
