The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on September 14, 2012 of Earle Joseph Keefe of Montague and formerly of Charlottetown and Green Meadows in his 80th year. Beloved father of Gerard (Diane Tsialtas) Keefe of Brampton ON, Eric (Kathy Corbett) Keefe of Etobicoke ON, Jane Bevan of Mt Stewart, Valerie (Paul) Peters of Stratford PE and Carson (Andrea Darville) Keefe of Cornwall PE. Brother of Ivan (Libby) Keefe, Vernon Keefe, Shirley MacDonald, and Mervin (Susie) Keefe. Also survived by sisters in law; Jesse, and Dianne. Loving grandfather to 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his son; Kevin Keefe, son in law; Arnold Bevan, parents; Jack and Martha Keefe, brothers; Sterling, Elmer, Johnny (Helen), Carl, Emmett and by his sister Noreen (Clifford) MacDonald. Resting at the lounge of St. Theresa, The Little Flower Church, Morell, for visitation on Monday, September 17, 2012 from 6:00 - 9:00 pm. Funeral mass to be celebrated at St. Lawrence O'Toole Roman Catholic Church, Green Meadows, on Tuesday at 10:30 am. Donations may be made in Earle's memory if desired, to the palliative care unit of the Prince Edward Home, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of PEI. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the North Shore Funeral Home, Morell.
