The death occurred at Beach Grove Home, on April 27, 2016 of Clare Bernadette Logan in her 86th year. Left to mourn are nieces and nephews, Albert, Joan, George, Paul (Siri), Betty (Mike) and Andrew as well as many cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her son Bobby Logan; her brother, John MacInnis; her sister, Geraldine (Ronald) MacDonald; and her parents, George and Ethel MacInnis. Clare was born at St. Peter’s Bay and in 1953 acquired a permanent American Visa and moved to Boston where she lived until 1996 when she retired and moved back to St. Peter’s. Active in the Canadian American Club and yearly trips back home, she always maintained her Island ties. Resting at Dr. Roddie Community Center, St. Peter’s Bay for visitation on Sunday May 01, 2016 from 5 – 8 pm. Funeral mass to be held at St. Peter’s Bay Roman Catholic Church, St. Peter’s Bay, on Monday, May 02, 2016 at 10:30 am. Interment in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Clare’s memory, may be made to the PEI chapter of the Canadian Celiac Association. Funeral arrangements entrusted to North Shore Funeral Home, Morell.
