Brian Ernest McGuire

Surrounded by the love and support of his family, following a five year courageous battle with cancer, Brian McGuire, aged 64 years, of Morell, went home to his heavenly father on August 17, 2007. Left to mourn are his wife and best friend of 43 years, Alycia, (nee Runighan) and his four devoted children: Sherry (Bernie Winters), Krista (Andrew MacPhail), Aaron (Tracy Hynes), and Jonathan (Ron Delaney). He will be especially missed by his precious and adoring grandchildren: Kalleigh, Jed, Regan and Jacklyn Winters, Kennedy Laybolt, Brooke and Bailey MacPhail and Trinity McGuire. Brian will be sadly missed by his brothers and sisters: Lou (Janet), Kevin (Margot), Joe (Mary), Garry (Betty), Dr. Paul (Cathy), Larry (Adele), Anne (Alan Donohoe), Bill, Bob (Ardyth) and Audrey (Guy Robson). Special son-in-law of Gen Runighan, brother-in-law Gerry (Linda), sisters-in-law Sheila (Joe Pierce), Carolyn (Bob Phelan) and Jennifer (Leslie Phelan). Also left to mourn are many special nieces and nephews who were very dear to Brian's heart as well as his beloved pet Bubbles. Predeceased by his parents, Louis and Etta (nee O'Brien) McGuire, infant brother Daniel, father-in-law Maurice Runighan, sisters-in-law, Judi McGuire and Anne McGuire. Resting in the Lounge at St. Theresa The Little Flower Church, Morell on Monday, August 20th 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass to be celebrated on Tuesday, August 21st at 10:00 a.m. at St. Theresa The Little Flower Catholic Church.
