Peacefully at the Kings County Memorial Hospital in Montague on Sunday, January 12, 2014, of Anne Bernice Handrahan (nee MacInnis). of Peakes, Wife of the late Michael Handrahan. Loving mother to Kenny, Darlene, Janice Ranahan (Earl), John and Jason (Tracey). Dear grandmother to Jenna Ranahan (Donnie Vigneau) and great grandmother to Jace and Lincoln Vigneau. Also survived by her sister; Marion Curley of Toronto, and sisters and brothers-in-law; Rita McInnis Noreen McInnis, Fred and Linda Handrahan, Fran Handrahan and Sally and Eddy Murphy. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her parents; Rupert and Pearl McInnis, brothers; Cecil, Elmer, and Frank, her sister; Josephine Poliquin and by brothers and sisters-in-law; Mary Handrahan, Rita Grant, Teresa Kiggins, Alfred Handrahan and Herbie Handrahan. Resting at St. Cuthbert's Roman Catholic Church, St. Teresa, for visitation on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 from 6 - 9 pm only. Funeral mass to be celebrated on Wednesday afternoon at 3:00 pm. Memorial donations, in Anne's memory, may be made to the Autism Society of PEI or to St. Cuthbert's Cemetery Fund if desired. St. Cuthbert's Catholic Women's League will hold a prayer service on Tuesday evening at 8:45 pm at the church. Funeral entrusted to North Shore Funeral Home, Morell.
