The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Friday, January 20,
2023, of Anna Marie Rafuse (nee Myers), aged 64, of Gillis Lodge, Belfast,
formerly of Montague and Georgetown. Anna was the beloved mother of
Terri Myers, John Rafuse and April Rafuse, and dear grandmother of Evan
Clements. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Wayne Myers,
Veronica Curley, Janet Sheppard (Garry), Mike Myers (Donna), Ginger
Llewellyn (Chester), and Vernon Myers, as well as numerous nieces,
nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Anna was predeceased by her
parents, John and Margaret Myers, brother-in-law Brian Curley and sister-
in-law Corinne Myers. Funeral Mass and interment are being planned for
May 2023. If desired, donations in memory of Anna to St. James Roman
Catholic Cemetery, Georgetown, would be appreciated. To send the family

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to North Shore Funeral Home,
Morell.
The funeral for the late Anna Marie Rafuse was held on June 03, 2023 at St. James Roman Catholic Church, Georgetown with Father Kishore officiating. The first reading was read by Garry Sheppard, while Claudia Batchilder proclaimed the second reading. Patsy Myers offered the prayers of intercession. Father Kishore read the gospel and delivered the homily. The Urn Bearers were April Rafuse, Terri Myers and John Myers. Eucharistic minister was Veronica Curley. The Altar Server was Edith MacDonald. Music was provided by St. James Choir singing, Processional, In The Garden; Psalm, Oh God I Know You Are Near; Preparation of gifts, Just a Closer Walk With Thee; Communion, How Great Thou Art; Incensing, Songs of the Angels; and Recessional, Amazing Grace. Interment took place in the parish cemetery. The funeral was under the direction of North Shore Funeral Home, Morell.
