The death occurred, surrounded by his family, at Kings County Memorial Hospital, Montague, on Saturday, November 9, 2013, of Angus Norman Laybolt of Dundee, aged 69, beloved husband of the late Marie (nee Trainor). Angus was the loving father of Bobby, Dundee and Sherri, Cardigan; special granddad to Angel (Robert) Campbell, Cardigan, Lance Laybolt, Souris and Megan Laybolt, Souris; Proud great-granddad to Darrion Campbell; and father-in-law of Lionel Sanderson, Cardigan. Angus is also survived by his brothers and sisters Evelyn (Mario) Lazeric, Marshfield, Francis (Esther), West St. Peters, Ambrose (Yvette), Morell, Cathy (Gerard) Baldwin, Baldwin’s Road, Paulette (Albert) Runighan, Bangor Road, Carlene (Gordon) Lloyd, East Royalty, Earl (Mabel), Canavoy, Carl (Tammy), Cornwall, and Donnie (Valerie), West St. Peters; sisters-in-law Delores (late Fred) and Margaret (Harold) Lutz; an uncle, and numerous aunts, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Frank and Eunice (nee Roach) Laybolt, and brothers and sister Aeneas, Fred and Mary. Resting at the Lounge of St. Theresa the Little Flower Roman Catholic Church, Morell, for visitation on Tuesday, November 12, 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, November 13 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Andrew’s Roman Catholic Church, Mount Stewart, with interment to follow at St. Andrew’s Cemetery. If so desired, in lieu of flowers, donations in Angus’ memory may be made to the Cancer Society or to St. Andrew’s Cemetery fund. Funeral arrangements entrusted to North Shore Funeral Home, Morell.
